Older adults will receive 6,400 pesos; deposits follow the first letter of the first surname, and the money stays on the card if you don't withdraw it that day.

Mexico's Welfare Ministry (Secretaría de Bienestar) will deposit the November–December 2026 payment of its social programs — the last of the year — from Tuesday, November 3, through Friday, November 27. Welfare Secretary Leticia Ramírez Amaya announced the schedule on Monday, October 26, at President Claudia Sheinbaum's morning press conference.

Payments go to each beneficiary's Tarjeta del Bienestar and are staggered by the first letter of the first (paternal) surname.

What to do if you collect in Cancún

  • No need to rush: the ministry says the money stays on the card, so you don't have to go to an ATM on deposit day. That helps avoid lines at Banco del Bienestar branches and ATMs downtown and in the supermanzanas.
  • Mind El Buen Fin: the payment window overlaps with El Buen Fin, Mexico's big sales weekend, November 13–17. If you plan to shop with the card, compare prices first and keep your receipts.
  • No one should charge you for your pension: the ministry stressed that payments are made with no intermediaries. Be wary of anyone asking for money, your PIN or card details to «speed up» a deposit.
  • Questions: call the Línea del Bienestar at 800 639 4264, email demandasocial@bienestar.gob.mx or visit gob.mx/bienestar.

This deposit closes the 2026 payment calendar; dates for the first payment of 2027 have not yet been announced.
